The undergraduates of the Art History Museum Object class invite you to the opening of their exhibition The Thrill of the Hunt: Dynamics of Authenticity in African Tourist Arts, on Thursday, November 16 at 6:00 pm in the WJB Gallery. The exhibition will present a series of African sculpture, masks, and statuary curated from the FSU Museum of Fine Arts collection. Students will reflect on the tourist’s delight in “hunting for” and “discovering” objects created for the global marketplace. The exhibition will remain open through December 4, weekday afternoons from 2 to 5 pm.
