Faculty Awarded Library Materials Grant

Associate Professor Stephanie Leitch received a $10,000 FSU Faculty Research Library Materials Grant, which will strengthen the library’s collections in the cataloguing and scholarship of early modern printmaking. Her grant will allow the purchase of fourteen volumes of monographs from the series New Hollstein German Engravings, Etchings and Woodcuts, c. 1400-1700. These volumes on early modern German printmakers are central to her current research program, and will also fill a gap in Strozier Library’s acquisition efforts in this area. The Hollstein volumes represent a series of monographs of printmakers active in the first few centuries of European printmaking and the most important scholarly effort in this vein.
