Professor Bauer Receives Research Grant for Book Project

Assistant Professor Doron Bauer has been awarded the Gerda Henkel Stiftung grant for the research project  “Lost at Sea: Islands and the Topology of Cultural Interactions in the Mediterranean.” The grant will allow Dr. Bauer and two researchers under his direction to study medieval objects, monuments, and archives in the Balearic Islands for three months this summer in order to advance a book-length project.
