Emily Johnson joined the Department of Art History as Academic Program Specialist in 2020. Emily received a BA in Natural Resource Management from the University of Tennessee at Martin. After graduation, Emily worked at the Nashville Zoo as a member of the education animal show staff and on the primate team.

A move to the Tallahassee area in 2016 lead to the opportunity to work at Florida State University. Prior to coming to the Art History Department, Emily was as an advisor for undergraduate students in the Art History, Studio Art, and Interior Architecture and Design majors.

Emily received a Master of Public Administration from the Florida State University in 2023.
