The Department of Art History and the Museum & Cultural Heritage Studies (MCHS) program invite students interested in The Ringling Course internship to a workshop:

Art History faculty members Dr. Mora Beauchamp-Byrd and Dr. Erika Loic will provide a brief overview of strategies for drafting compelling and effective cover letters for the MCHS Ringling Course internship application and other, future opportunities.

Ringling Course Application Requirements:

To apply for The Ringling Course internship, please send a 1-page cover letter and resume (2-page max.) to both Dr. Mora J. Beauchamp-Byrd (mjb23j@fsu.edu) and Dr. Jay Boda (internships@ringling.org) by Monday, October 9 at 4:59 pm.  Applicants will be notified re: final selections by Wednesday, October 25.

Cover letters should include the candidate’s academic, Ringling Course internship, and future professional goals. Please indicate your particular areas of interest (curatorial, public programming, registrarial/collections management, etc.). For curatorial interests, a writing sample may be requested to highlight the candidate’s experience within a particular art historical specialization.
