MARCH 4-6: HOMO SARGASSUM SYMPOSIUM
Museum of Fine Arts
This conference is the closing event of the MoFA exhibition HOMO SARGASSUM, which explores the spread of sargassum seaweed in Florida and the Caribbean through the lens of art and science.

APRIL 3: MUSEUM OBJECT EXHIBITION OPENING

Thursday, April 3, 2025, 5:30pm: Opening reception for Woven Together: Funerary Textiles from the Ancient Andean Coast, the Art History undergraduate museum object class exhibition, which will feature textiles from FSU’s Carter Collection of Andean objects.

APRIL 15: UNDERGRADUATE MINI-SYMPOSIUM

Tuesday, April 15 from 6 to 8 pm: An evening of research presentations by students in Dr. Bick’s seminar on “Contemporary Art and Artistic Labor.” Presentations will be followed by a Q&A and pizza! All are welcome.

MAY 2: ART HISTORY GRADUATION CELEBRATION
Rose Library & WJB 2005
Join us on Friday, May 2 at 1pm in the Rose Library, WJB 2020, to celebrate our students receiving their BA, MA, and PhD degrees this spring. We’ll move to lecture hall 2005 for a brief commencement ceremony at 1:30pm. Families welcome!
