Nathan Timpano (PhD 2010, MA 2006)

Nathan is Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Miami. During and after his doctoral work at FSU, Nathan was the recipient of national and international awards for his research, including a Stefan Engelhorn Curatorial Fellowship at the Harvard Art Museums, a Fulbright Doctoral Fellowship to Vienna, Austria, and a DAAD Ph.D. Grant to Munich, Germany.

Nathan’s book Constructing the Viennese Modern Body: Art, Hysteria and the Puppet is forthcoming from Routledge in 2017.
