The Ringling Museum Hiring an Arts and Health Program Coordinator, Assistant Librarian, Associate Registrar, and a Gift Processing Assistant


The Arts and Health Program Coordinator is a member of the Education Department team responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of Arts and Health, Accessibility, and Vitality Arts programming at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Recent master graduated encouraged to apply! Experience in art therapy, gallery teaching, art education, and healthcare preferred.

The Assistant Librarian helps to maintain the library’s cataloging, digital resources, digital collection, and facilitates public access to the collection through the electronic resources such as the Online Public Access Catalog (OCLC). The incumbent also assists the Head of Library services with oversight of volunteers and interns, management of periodicals, budget and some reference assistance. Graduates with a master’s degree in Library adn Information Science encouraged to apply!

The Associate Registrar, TMS is responsible for the administration and management of The Ringling’s collections management system, TMS (The Museum System, Gallery Systems). Primary responsibilities include implementing a standardized method for data entry and controlled vocabularies; keeping current with and overseeing all required upgrades of TMS; executing staff and user trainings; developing necessary reports for use by museum constituents; ensuring proper access, consistency, and use of the museum’s collections management system, both internally and externally via eMuseum; and serving as the Lead Registrar for related permanent collection projects, as needed. Graduates with a bachelor’s degree in library/information science, art history, museum studies are encouraged to apply!

The Data Entry and Gift Processing Assistant contributes to the integrity, maintenance and management of advancement information through data entry, reporting, gift entry, and clerical support within the museum’s Membership & Development departments. All are encouraged to apply!
