- Provides staff support for museum activities and events, serves on committees that further museum goals and objectives. Serves as an education/interpretation team member on exhibit teams.
- Performs other work-related duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of
- American history obtained through coursework or on the job.
- Museum terminology and programs
- Strategic planning for museum education program development
- Educational program planning, development, and evaluation techniques
- Ability to
- Record and report data and statistics related to museum programs and services.
- Communicate effectively, in written and oral presentations.
- Understand and apply pertinent rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Use a computer program for word processing, research, preparation of plans, reports and presentations, and database management.
- Strong organizational skills
