Art History Student Organization Events This Week

The graduate Art History Association (AHA), led this year by Ari Hakkarainen, Meggan McCarthy, and Megan Murray, will host the Fall Research Forum on Wednesday, September 12 at 4 pm in WJB G40. Faculty members and doctoral students will give short presentations about their summer research in a casual, open forum, followed by light refreshments.

On Thursday, September 13, the Undergraduate Art History Association (UAHA), led by President Meg Barrett, will meet in WJB G40 at 5:15 pm to discuss officer opportunities and applications and plans for the coming year.

Also on the evening of Thursday, September 13, the interdisciplinary Medieval Studies Organization (MSO) will hold its Fall Informational Meeting in WJB G40 at 6:30 pm. The MSO is an interdisciplinary group that promotes the study of antiquity and the Middle Ages in Europe and the eastern Mediterranean. MSO is represented by students of Art History, Classics, English, History, Humanities, and Middle Eastern Studies. President Sarah Mathiesen invites all who are interested to attend Thursday evening, meet the officers, and discuss plans for fall events.
